1. Do you diagnose ADHD?
We can diagnose ADHD but it may require more than one visit for diagnosis.
2. Why can’t you prescribe a stimulant to start?
Nurse Practitioners in the state of Arkansas are limited in prescribing certain medications.
Regulations regarding our practice are voted on by state senators and implemented through the Arkansas State Board of Nursing. If you want this law changed to allow unencumbered access to treatment, please write to your local senator to express your concern.

Although we can provide limited talk therapy during appointments, our primary role is medication management.
We recommend the Psychology Today website for therapy options and are happy to refer patients to credentialed therapists/counselors.

We see patients aged 6 and up.
6. Why are we getting several appointment reminders?
In an effort to treat all of our patients with the same amount of respect, we send several notifications to help out some of our patients who may be busy or forgetful. This is to ensure that everyone has access and opportunity to mental health care and we appreciate everyone understanding and being there for each other.
7. What are the costs per visit?
Self-pay is $150 for the initial visit and $100 for follow-up appointments
8. What insurance do you take?
We accept all insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid.
